Consultation Guidelines
These guidelines apply to all Diaspora Hub consultations and Travel Support services. They exist to protect your experience, keep expectations clear, and ensure our team can deliver at a high standard.
What consultations are
Consultations provide practical guidance, planning support, checklists, and recommendations based on the information you share. Where relevant, we may also provide introductions to trusted third-party vendors (for example: transport, shipping, accommodation contacts, or local services).
What consultations are not
We do not provide legal advice, immigration advice, medical advice, or financial advice. Where specialist advice is needed, we may recommend that you speak to a qualified professional or relevant authority.
Accuracy and preparation
You agree to provide accurate information through the booking form and to come prepared with key details (travel dates, budgets, document status, preferred areas, and your main questions). If key details are missing, your session may be less effective.
Calls and communication
Sessions are delivered via Zoom or WhatsApp call. If your package includes follow-up, follow-up support is limited to the timeframe stated in your package and is intended for clarifying points from the session, not unlimited ongoing support.
Rescheduling and lateness
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least twenty four hours notice where possible. If you arrive late, the session may still end at the original scheduled time to avoid impacting other bookings.
Refunds and missed sessions
Time is reserved specifically for you. Completed sessions are non-refundable. Missed sessions without notice may be treated as forfeited. If you experience a genuine emergency, contact us as soon as possible and we will aim to be fair and reasonable.
Introductions and third-party services
If we introduce you to vendors, landlords, agents, or service providers, any agreement you enter into is between you and that third party. We are not responsible for third-party pricing, service quality, availability, or outcomes, though we welcome feedback and will act on repeated concerns.
Professional conduct
We operate a zero-tolerance policy for abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour toward our team. We reserve the right to end a call and refuse service where conduct standards are breached.
Agreement
By booking a consultation, you confirm you have read and agree to these Consultation Guidelines, alongside the relevant Terms and Privacy Policy on our website.
